Te Whare Manaaki o Toda and Ozone Climate Theatre Company- Community asset mapping: our places, our people, our preparedness

Just as climate systems are interconnected, so are we.

During the festival, our gallery will host an evolving, large-scale community hazard and asset map of Poneke.

Visitors are invited to contribute their local knowledge—highlighting climate risks across the Wellington Region, community assets such as marae, faith centres, food providers and water sources, accessibility considerations, specialist services, and the skills they can offer or support they may need.

Remaining on display throughout the festival, the installation becomes a living artwork of collective resilience—mapping not only our vulnerabilities, but also our strengths, generosity and interdependence.

You can view the exhibition and get involved on Wednesdays and Fridays 11am-3pm and Saturdays 11 am-2pm, for more info on when we are open check out our Facebook page.
