Please note: The following information matches that found on Wellington City Council's main Privacy statement page.

The information Wellington City Council collects from you will be used to help us make decisions about improvements and projects across the city.

All submissions (including name and contact details) may be provided in their entirety to elected members and made available to the public at our office and on our website (please check the privacy statement specific to each consultation for clarity around this). Personal information (including contact details) will also be used for the administration of the consultation process including informing you of the outcome of the consultation. Demographic information may be used to identify macro-trends which can assist the Council in identifying who is engaging with us. All information collected will be securely held by Wellington City Council, with submitters having the right to access and correct personal information.

Any engagement on wellington.govt.nz will include its own privacy statement; check for the individual privacy statement when making a submission or giving feedback.

In some instances (e.g. when using interactive tools, such as a forum), your username and any comments you make will be visible online to the public.
