Times certainly are changing in so many ways. At Council we are all adapting to new ways of doing things at pace. One of the changes is how we replace the valuable face to face engagement that we have with our communities.

Our Parking Policy consultation is still open and we encourage you to make a submission and ask questions regarding the proposed parking policy.

The new submission deadline for the Parking Policy is Monday, 5pm, 8th June, with oral submissions to be scheduled for later in May and additional dates towards the end of June.

To replace the face-face engagement we will be hosting Ward webinars to give you the opportunity to tell us what you think. Dates and times are provided under the "Key dates" section of the website. You can register for these now.

All comments, submissions and requests for oral submissions we have received so far have been recorded and will be included in the analysis of responses.

You can read about our proposals, make your submission and ask a question if you would like.

We’ve been looking at how we allocate road space for parking and how we manage parking to support our growing city.

This is your chance to have a say on our proposed new policy.

Everyone is affected by this policy from vehicle drivers, bus passengers, cyclists to pedestrians. It's important everyone has their opportunity to share their views.

What happens with my feedback?

All the feedback will be analysed and a report with recommendations will be given to Councillors for them to consider before making their final decisions.

How can I have my say?

Below you will find 23 questions. Please answer the questions that are applicable to you.

The consultation will remain open and a new submission deadline will be set once public engagement can begin again.

If you want to make a paper-based submission the relevant documents and submission forms will be available at your local library, once Council facilities re-open.

Thanks to everyone who has given feedback already, through our polls and questionnaires.
