Let's Get Wellington Moving December 2023 - Traffic and Parking Restrictions

Wellington City Council is asking for feedback on two proposed new traffic resolutions that are part of Let's get Wellington Moving. To feedback, see the submission form at the bottom of the page.

The resolutions are for minor changes to make the streets noted, safer and easier for people travelling by bike, on foot, and by bus.

Following feedback and Council approval, the traffic restrictions will be added to the Council's legal database and instructions issued to contractors to install the changes.

Due to the disruption caused by the demolition of the Toomath building on Ghuznee Street, the decision has been made to delay TR158-23 Cuba Street, Te Aro - No Stopping At All Times, P10 Loading Zones, Metered Parking and widening footpath until early 2024.
