Thank you for attending our Residents' Wrap – Ward-inar series

In recent weeks life has changed in ways no-one could have imagined. We were excited to run our first webinars as part of a new way of engaging for the Annual Plan and Parking Policy review.

While restrictions were in place, and with the Annual Plan out for consultation, we knew it was really important that people had a chance to kōrero about the proposed rates rises, the priorities aimed at getting our city up and thriving as fast as possible, and ask questions.

More than 300 of you tuned in to see the Mayor and Councillors from your ward answer questions on the big issues facing the city, and what it means for your community. Topics included priority projects, innovating streets initiatives, rates options, parking vs active modes of transport, if anything has changed because of Covid-19, and how best to balance the books while getting our city thriving post lockdown.

We received more than 500 questions during our webinars, either when people registered or live during the broadcast. A selection of the questions are in the panel at the side of the page. Many of these were asked by more than one participant. You can check out the rest of the questions you asked us in our FAQs. These will be updated as the answers are available.
