  • How to use this website?

    by Fiona@WCC, 10 months ago

Each project page is designed to provide an overview of the project on the top left and more information on the far right or if you scroll down the page.

Following the project overview there will be one or more grey tabs. To access the content of each tab, click on the text or the content you want to view and the page will appear below.

If we are asking for public feedback you can find ways to feedback by clicking each tab. The titles of the tabs may vary for each project page.

If there is a tab called more, click on the arrow pointing down, more options will appear where you can view further material.

  • Why do you need to register to participate?

    by Fiona@WCC, 10 months ago

Registering is quick and simple. It helps you and it helps us. It helps you because you’re personal details will not appear online. If you participate, only a personalised user name which you create will appear along with your thoughts. We advise if you do want to remain anonymous that you do not use your name as a user name.

It helps us because we get to better understand who we are engaging with. It also ensures discussions and results are not manipulated by someone leaving multiple comments to support their own position.

Please note some fields in the registration form are mandatory and we have provided an explanation under each request.

    by Fiona@WCC, 10 months ago

The moderators do not edit or alter any comments and will only remove comments deemed to be offensive or malicious, in which case they are removed from the site immediately. Any participant that has a comment removed will be notified and the reasons explained.

We understand that we can be quite passionate when we have your say. But please be nice and respect others right to voice their opinion, even if you don’t quite agree with it.

  • What happens to my feedback?

    by Fiona@WCC, 10 months ago

Your feedback is collated along with other comments, ideas and suggestions and is used to inform Council decisions. Online data is used alongside face-to-face consultation activities such as workshops, focus groups and listening posts. The engagement activities may not all be happening at the same time.

Once all of this information is collated officers will write a summary report which will be required and considered by elected members. Have a look at each project page to find out what their timeline is and find out when their report is due with elected members.

  • About the site

    by Fiona@WCC, 10 months ago

Providing a good customer experience is key. To assist with this experience we are piloting this web platform called Engagement HQ by web providers Bang the Table to see if it can help raise our communities’ awareness about key projects within Wellington.

We’re always looking to improve. If you have any feedback or comments about the website or specific web pages you can either contact someone listed in the ‘who’s listening’ box, which is found on each project page or have a chat to our friendly contact centre staff on 04 499 4444 and they’ll pass on the message.

  • I've forgotten my password and/or my username. What should I do?

Irritating, isn't it! We've tried to make this process as simple as possible:

Step 1: Click the "login" link on the top right of the screen.

Step 2: Click the "forgotten password" link under the "sign in" button.

Step 3: Type in your email address and click enter. You will then receive an email from us with your Username and a link back to the site. Click on that link to reset your password.

Step 4: Sign in with your old username and new password.
