Te Mahere ā-Rohe i Tūtohua - Proposed District Plan Consultation

Consultation has concluded

The District Plan is the rulebook for how we all use land. It applies to every property in the city and provides the blueprint for how Wellington will grow.

The District Plan review looks at the major planning and environmental issues facing the city. This includes:

  • housing supply, choice, and affordability
  • protecting biodiversity
  • growth and infrastructure
  • responding to climate change
  • managing the risk of natural hazards.
