Grenada Village Play Area Renewal

Consultation has concluded

The Grenada Village play area is due for an upgrade and we'd like to hear your feedback on the draft design.

Grenada Village is a neighbourhood play area, that is a handy place for a quick play, with play opportunities for at least one age group. It is designed to service the local neighbourhood within an approximate 600–metre walking distance.

The proposed changes include a new Platinum Play slide and climbing module, a two-bay Ace Swing set, A Kompan seesaw and Wehopper mini, and a refurbishment of the Spica, and Spinner bowl.

Please refer to the Grenada Village Concept Proposal for more information.

We’d like to hear your feedback on the draft design, please let us know your thoughts by emailing playgrounds@wcc.govt.nz by 5pm 18 September 2022.

More information

We're renewing these play areas to make them an even better place to play. You can read more about Wellington City Council’s strategic vision and planning for play areas in Wellington in the Play Spaces Policy (2017).
